A government funding stopgap approved by the U.S. House of Representatives would extend Medicare telehealth flexibilities and CMS’ hospital-at-home waiver through November.
The continuing resolution bill, which passed the House on Sept. 17 by a 216-210 vote, prolongs the programs that are set to expire Sept. 30 through Nov. 21.
Dozens of health systems have urged Congress to extend the pandemic-era flexibilities that increased access for telehealth and acute hospital care at home.
