Lewes, Del.-based Beebe Healthcare is investing time and resources into unifying its Epic EHR into a single instance, according to a report from CoastTV, an NBC affiliate.

The transition will also add MyChart access to all Beebe patients, including the ability to make appointments on the mobile app or online portal. Patients can also securely message with clinicians, manage billing and accelerate check-ins digitally.

“Beebe will truly become a smarter, stronger and more connected health system for every person we serve,” said David Tam, MD, president and CEO of Beene Healthcare.

The health system will also have access to Epic’s data lake with information from 190 million patients and 3,700 hospitals.
