Be a NAHSE-WMAC
Founded in 1968, the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) is a nonprofit membership organization that is dedicated to promoting and advancing the development of Black health care leaders. Through our work, our goal is to ensure members are active participants in the design, direction, and delivery of healthcare for all people. The NAHSE-Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter (NAHSE-WMAC) offers an array of programming to advance the mission. Activities include professional and educational programs, mentorship, networking opportunities, and high-profile community service events.
Given the state of the nation, the relevance of the NAHSE mission has been amplified. Currently, a national dialogue is underway about systemic racism and how it shows up in various settings. During this moment of inflection, it is important for the healthcare sector to recognize how injustices show up in our work and how those injustices compromise the health of the populations we serve.
As we work collectively to dismantle all traces of racism and bias in the industry, our relationship with corporate partners has never been more important. NAHSE-WMAC invites your organization to become a Corporate Partner. Benefits include strategic exposure and engagement with a network of some of the most talented healthcare leaders in the region. Partners also contribute to programming activities and recognition events. Company logos are included on the website, program brochures, press releases and social media outlets.
Additionally, participation and sponsorship support diversity and inclusion efforts throughout the Washington Metropolitan Region and advances quality in leadership, career advancement, and the elimination of health disparities and healthcare disparities.
One of our Strategic Partnership Committee members will contact you within the next few weeks to discuss this opportunity and answer any questions you may have. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me at (301) 237-5919. On behalf of the Executive Officers, I am deeply appreciative of your support and your commitment to the NAHSE mission.
