Dear NASHE Members,

It is my great honor to have been called upon to lead the Washington Chapter of NAHSE in support of our mission in promoting the advancement and development of minority health care leaders and elevating the quality of health care services rendered to minority and underserved communities. It is equally important that we continue to be a leader in shaping not the future of healthcare and ideas, but also ways in which they can make the most powerful impact and difference in the world.
As a community we will continue to focus on providing you, the member, with the engagement, information, thought leadership and opportunities to help you achieve positive outcomes in delivering solutions for health. Together, we will work to continue to innovate in our eco-system.

In the coming month, I will be continuing conversations with key stakeholders across the healthcare community. This is a time of collecting data to validate and mold our go-forward strategy. I encourage you to share with me your member experiences, your thoughts on where the future lies for NAHSE, and where you see improvement in healthcare.

Many associations aspire to change the world. But very few have all the elements required: talent, opportunity, and a passionate and dedicated membership base. We have all three in abundance. And as the new Chapter President, I could not ask for a better foundation.

This year, our theme will be Transformation | Innovation | Sustainability | Adaptive
