Tiyi N. Moori, fondly known as “Ty” is an Operations, results – driven healthcare professional. Ty is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, where she received her Doctorate of Healthcare Administration (DHA).

Ty began her career as a laboratory technologist in North Carolina where she specialized in cytotechnology, the study of cancer cells. While finishing up her MBA degree (Beta Gamma Sigma) from Winston Salem State University, she completed a brief administrator internship at John Hopkins Hospital. This eventually led her to a healthcare management career.

Ty was named one of the Triad Business Journal’s 40 Leaders Under Forty, recently selected as an advisor of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) Early Careerists Committee and was featured in the Healthcare Executive Magazine “On the Move” column.

Ty is inspired to lead and to serve others. One of Ty’s favorite quotes is by Mohammad Ali, “service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth”. Her passion for healthcare and education is evident in her involvement with the NAHSE and the Greater Baltimore Urban League’s Saturday Leadership Program, a program that is designed to foster college and career readiness to high school students. Ty currently resides in Randallstown, Maryland with her family. She serves as the manager of the Maryland Tigers boys basketball team, consults early careerists, conducts small speaking engagements and enjoys writing short essays.
