Ms. Malloy accepted the call to lead the organization’s efforts to increase access to health care services in our community for both insured and uninsured. Recognizing that quality health care with improved health care outcomes is important, she has charged her team of committed providers and staff with a Strategic Vision, “to provide access to high quality health care in state of the art facilities with the support of partners. We will be known in the region for providing the highest level of customer service and employee satisfaction.”
In addition to her demonstrated commitment to the health and well-being of the community, Mrs. Malloy brought over 18 years of management and experience in the insurance industry to the role. Quickly recognized as a leader among her colleagues, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Mid-Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers, Community Health Integrated partnerships, and Maryland Community Health Systems.
Highly valuing partnerships and collaboration, Mrs. Malloy is the secretary of the Johns Hopkins Health Care (Priority Partners) Board of Directors serving on the Provider Network Contracting Committee and Grievance and Appeal Committee. She also serves on the Healthy Charles County Committee, Healthier Charles County Coalition, Prince George’s County Primary Care Stakeholders Group, , and the Regional Primary Care Coalition.
On her watch, GBMS has been reaffirmed its Joint Commission Accreditation, and has been recognized by NCQA as a Patient Centered Medical Home with level 3 designation.
Colenthia, her husband and 2 sons reside in Clinton, Maryland.
